I thought it might be nice to show some pictures of my project here. They are a bit unorganized.

The circuits are incredibly basic, but the resistors on the breadboard need to be carefully selected since the LEDs will not all pull the same current.

The cable was made from two and a half phone chords that were then taped together with electrical tape. If I were to do it again I would probably have used heat shrink tubing, however it has held up quite well over the years.
